TECH SPECS
- Fits any door between 1 3/8” – 2” thick with a 2 1/8” bore standard door preparation
- Extension Kits are available for door thickness up to 4”
- Standard latch is for 2 3/8" backset. Specify 2 3/4" backset if required
- All lever latchsets meet ADA accessibility requirements (ANSI A117.1)
- T and Full Lip strikes included

CAPABILITIES
PASSAGE (PAS)
A handle set without an integrated locking mechanism, intended to be paired with a deadbolt for exterior doors or used on interior doors where privacy is not required, such as for a walk-in linen closet or a child's room.
PRIVACY (PRI)
Privacy handles are equipped with a locking mechanism that can be engaged from the inside without the need for a key. These handles are most commonly used in areas like bathrooms and bedrooms where privacy is desired.
DUMMY (DUM)
A dummy door handle is a non-functional handle, meaning it does not turn or latch. It is simply a decorative handle that is fixed in place and used for aesthetic purposes or to pull/push open doors that don’t require a latch.
HALF DUMMY (DUML/DUMR)
A half-dummy handle is like a dummy handle but is mounted on only one side of the door, as opposed to both sides. It serves as a decorative or pull handle for one-sided use.

Most of our door handle models are available with this flush rose, making installation a breeze. Featuring a 2 9/16” rose compatible with standard 2 1/8” door prep, it is only 1/8” thick, offering an unobtrusive design. For added versatility, the UEPL rose retains the minimalist appeal of the smaller flush rose while accommodating both tubular and mortise door preparations. Its installation is straightforward, and matching deadbolts are also available.
Perfect for both commercial and residential projects, the flush rose can be mounted directly onto the surface of the door without modification, giving you the freedom to choose based on your design vision. Karcher Design also offers the Plan Design rose for easy surface mounting.
